Just like artists displaying their works and curating the space around in museums, our neighbours too, are natural exhibitors of their own spaces. Block 555 is an exploration of how the neighbours have created a landscape of their own or rather at their own discretion in their silent takeover of the space outside their homes. When we take our focus off our mandatory unit numbers. I find myself in these corridors and wonder how the other corridors at other floors above or below exhibit.

It’s like visiting a natural museum that changes its exhibits through this passage of time. Sometimes we see something new, sometimes we don’t. We may not talk to our neighbours as compared to past times, but we see a glimpse of their lives, the sundries they sun. The number of children they have, how much of a plant-lover they are.
